Winemaker: Pierrick Laroche
Pierrick's vineyards are based around Maligny, then northernmost village in Chablis. He inherited the domaine from his father who had previously sold all of his grape to the local co-op, however in 2010 he decided to do a small bottling of wine under his own label which was very well received and he hasn't looked back since! The vineyards this far north are known for their high clay content which helps to instill a pleasant weight, flint minerality and zippy acidity in the wines. He uses a majority of stainless steel and allows full malolactive fermentation on his wines, which intelligently serve to pronounce the characteristics of his fruit and create subtle, charming, mineral wines.
